How do you get a set of spots in a white turtleneck?
I Got a new all white collar for Christmas from my mom and a few day I dropped my cup of hot chocolate all down my shirt. I had forgotten about it until today when I saw the spot had actually Set in. This comes to me all the time. Some people may know what I mean. Does anyone have any advice for this stain out. Of course I appreciate it. Thanks
Chocolate is both an oil stain (cocoa butter) and a splash of color (cocoa) … so it has to be treated as oil and once a spot color. For the oil … plate Rub diluted cleaning fluid stains. Allow to sit 20 to 30 minutes. No matter which brand you use as long as it is a good brand. Most Dawn of people recommend, but I found other brands work just as well … Ajax, Palmolive, etc. of the dish washing liquid is specially formulated to break oils. Decomposes cocoa butter and allow the washer to wash away. After the detergent has sat on clothing from 20 to 30 minutes, wash in establishing water warm detergent, but adds a generous amount of Oxiclean for the color of the stain. You may have to repeat the above treatments to completely eliminate chocolate spot, but this treatment works.
