George II – the king who took his temper out on his wig!

When George II was cross or angry – which was quite often – his face turn crimson, his eyes bulge and he took off the wig snatch, stamp on it and then hit foot around the room. It was a short man, stout, vain, punctilious and very irritable which was not very attractive at all.

Tudor mother – the Queen, who was indecently exposed for 200 years!

Queen Catherine of Valois – the wife of King Henry V, died in January 1437. He was buried with great pomp and circumstance at Westminster Abbey, where, according to the custom of the time, their wooden effigy was made before his coffin.
When Henry VII was buiding his great chapel the coffin was found and Catherine decomposing body was placed in a wooden box and placed near the grave of her, of Henry in his "badly dressed" state was open to the gaze curious. The Ring of Essex

Elizabeth I know who have had many favorites but it is Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex, whose name still lives with her despite being 33 years older than him. It says she gave a ring containing a cameo portrait of herself as a token of gratitude for defeating the Spanish at Cadiz. She told him that, if it ever was in danger, or if once fell into disgrace with it, to send it as a reminder of their debt to him. Elizabeth signed his death warrant, hoping against hope (thought) that the ring would be returned. The captive Essex sent the ring from his cell in the Tower of London, but said that a jealous enemy stopped its delivery and the Queen never received.
He was executed on 25 February 1601, the Tower Green in the Tower of London. Elizabeth is said to have wept for days, and was upset at the mere mention of his name, for the rest of his life.
The "Essex Ring" was returned to Elizabeth, three centuries too late and was put under glass and leave the side of his tomb. He later withdrew and can be seen in the museum at Westminster Abbey.

The Queen spit!

In temperament Elizabeth I was arbitrary, capricious and passionate. When her blood, she could swear like a trooper, spit in new velvet dress one courtier, overcame her bridesmaids, and ears Essex box.
