What is the best way for a couple to find a large bedroom in a house with roommates?
We are a female gay couple who want to move in together, and want to find a large bedroom in a house that is already populated by a few friendly roommates. What is the best way to do this? We hear that usually people looking for room-mates to fill a room aren’t looking for couples, so what is the best way to up our chances? Any thoughts? Would really appreciate help! Thanks!
People usually rent-out their spare bedroom — not their master bedroom. It seems like your scenario depends on a desperate homeowner or renter who is willing to give-up their master bedroom and take a chance on renting to a couple in order to solve their financial problem.
